Angelo Viscariello moved from Naples, Italy, to New Jersey as teenager. After working in pizza establishments throughout the 1970s, he travelled to Texas in 1980 in search of an opportunity to own his own restaurant. Along with his brother Tony, the two owned Mario's Pizza in Seabrook for 13 years. There, the pair met and worked with James Ritz, and together the three opened Angelo’s Pizza & Pasta in 1993. For the past 29 years, the restaurant has exclusively used family recipes to serve chicken Milanese, spicy cannelloni, gelato and more. The pizzas are made from fresh ingredients and hand-tossed dough and are baked in a wood-fired oven. Angelo is serving on the Final Pitch Board of Advisors for the second consecutive year.
